Persimmon Homes Community Champions
The Autumn Term has had a wonderful start!
We had the pleasure of a visit from Stuart McAdam, Planning Manager for Persimmon Homes Suffolk, yesterday morning. Stuart was here to present Inside Out Community with the Persimmon Homes Community Champion Award for July 2022.
Ankita Aggarwal, our new Art of Wellbeing Project Manager, was delighted to receive the award on our behalf. She passed on our thanks and the deep appreciation felt by the whole team. Inside Out is thrilled to be Community Champions as supporting our community is at the very heart of everything we do.
Stuart showed a genuine intest in our Community. He looked at a selection of the work that had been produced over the past 12 months. Included were examples from our Creative Lives and Artworks groups but also our recent outreach and satellite projects. Collaborations with Emmaus, Level 2, the Anglo Chinese Cultural Exchange and Get Creative For Life all featured.
This wonderful award enabled the continuation of our Moving Minds programme this term. Moving Minds restarted Wednesday 14th September at Jerwood DanceHouse, Foundry Lane, Ipswich IP4 1DJ
Moving Minds
Moving Minds is open to anyone who feels drawn to the idea of creative dance and movement to support their well-being and mental health.
Suitable for beginners and improvers alike. Sessions aim to inspire members to move more freely, rhythmically and expressively. You will create both individually and with others in the group.
The workshops are led by Samantha Moss, an experienced DanceEast dance artist. Samantha has been leading dance and well-being classes for many years.
